At a moderate 300 puffs a day, a Mega 50K runs about five and a half months on paper and the 40K devices about four. Very heavy use of 700 puffs a day cuts that to roughly ten weeks and eight weeks. Real figures land below the printed rating because lab draws are shorter than human ones.
How Long a VOZOL Lasts by Usage
Divide the rating by your daily puff count and you have a ceiling. A Mega 50K at 300 puffs a day is 166 days. A Vista 40K or Star 40K at the same rate is 133 days. At 500 a day those become 100 and 80. At 700 a day, 71 and 57.
Those are the optimistic numbers because the rating itself is optimistic. A realistic discount is 25 to 40 percent, which puts a Mega 50K at moderate use somewhere around three to four months rather than five and a half. That is still a long time for a single device, and it is the reason the category exists — it is also why cost per 1,000 puffs is the number worth comparing rather than the sticker price.

Why You Get Fewer Puffs Than the Box Says
Draw length is the dominant factor. Puff ratings are measured by machine at a short, fixed inhale. People take longer draws than that, and a four-second inhale consumes roughly twice the liquid of a two-second one. Two people with identical daily puff counts can be months apart on device life for that reason alone.
Output setting is the second factor, and it only applies to the Vista 40K. Running in Turbo consumes materially more liquid per puff than Soft. If you leave a Vista in its highest mode permanently, do not expect the printed figure.
Chain-vaping is the third. Consecutive rapid draws vaporise liquid faster than the wick re-saturates, which both wastes liquid and stresses the coil.
The Battery Runs Out Long Before the Liquid
This is the part that surprises people moving up from smaller disposables. A 1000mAh cell does not deliver 40,000 puffs on one charge, and it was never intended to. You will recharge a Vista or Star many times over its life, and a Mega 50K base many times over the life of a single pod.

How Long an Unopened VOZOL Keeps
Nicotine salt e-liquid oxidises slowly. Sealed and stored at room temperature away from sunlight, a device holds up well for a year or more, though the liquid darkens over time and sweeter flavors lose definition first. Menthol and plain fruit age better than dessert and candy profiles.
Heat is what actually damages a stored device. A drawer is fine; a car in summer is not. If you are buying more than one at a time, that is the only storage rule worth following.
