Which Charger a VOZOL Needs

USB-C, the same connector as a modern Android phone or a recent iPhone. There is no cable in the box on any of these devices, which is deliberate across the category and not a missing item from your order.

Use a modest power source. A 5W to 10W phone charger, a laptop USB port or a power bank all work. What you should avoid is a high-wattage fast charger intended for a laptop. These are small cells and there is no benefit to pushing more current at them; the internal circuit will limit the draw anyway, and heat is the thing that shortens battery life.

How Long a VOZOL Takes to Charge

From flat to full, expect somewhere under an hour on the Vista 40K and Star 40K, which both carry 1000mAh cells. The Mega 50K base holds 650mAh and finishes sooner.

These are the manufacturer-side battery capacities as we have them; the charge times are our estimate from those capacities at 5W-10W, not a measured figure, and we say so rather than publish a number we have not timed.

You do not need to charge to full. These are lithium cells and partial top-ups do them no harm at all; the habit of running a battery flat before recharging belongs to a different chemistry. Plugging in for ten minutes when it gets low is completely fine and is arguably better for the cell than repeated full cycles.

What the Screen Shows While Charging

All three devices report battery level and e-liquid level, and the battery figure is the one that moves while charging. On the Mega 50K the readout lives on the base, not the pod, which is why a pod on its own shows nothing at all.

Two readings that people confuse: a battery reading climbing while the e-liquid reading stays put is entirely normal, because charging does not refill anything. And a device that charges to full but produces no vapor is not a charging problem — that is covered on the troubleshooting page.

If Your VOZOL Will Not Charge

Work through these in order. Swap the cable first, because a partly broken USB-C cable that still charges a phone can fail to deliver enough current to a small device. Then change the power source, moving from a wall adapter to a laptop port or the reverse.

Next, look into the port with a light. Pocket lint compacts into USB-C ports and is the single most common cause of a device that will not take a charge. A wooden toothpick lifts it out; nothing metal, and never while the device is plugged in.
