VOZOL Vape Not Working?
Symptom by symptom, what it means and what to do about it.
A VOZOL that produces no vapor is flat far more often than it is broken, so charge it first. Blinking almost always means low battery or a blocked draw. A burnt taste on the Mega 50K is fixed by swapping the pod; on the Vista and Star it means the coil is near the end of its life.

Start here, then read the section that matches. The Mega 50K has one extra repair path the other two do not, because its pod comes off.

VOZOL Not Hitting or Producing No Vapor
Charge it before anything else. A 650mAh Mega 50K base or a 1000mAh Vista or Star is exhausted many times over the life of one 18-20mL tank, so a dead device mid-tank is expected rather than faulty. Twenty minutes on a 5W to 10W USB-C source is enough to tell: if the battery reading climbs, the device was flat and not broken.
If it is charged and still silent, check the airway. Draw on it with the mouthpiece uncovered and listen: if there is no airflow at all, something is blocking it, and that is usually condensed liquid or debris in the mouthpiece. Wipe it and try a short, gentle draw.
On the Mega 50K there is one more thing to check that does not exist on the other two: the pod has to be seated properly on the base. Pull it off and press it back on until it clicks. A pod sitting slightly proud makes no electrical contact and the device behaves exactly as if it were dead.
Why a VOZOL Blinks
Blinking is the device's only way to report a problem, and it means one of two things on this range.
The common one is low battery. Plug it in; if the blinking stops and the battery reading starts climbing, that was it. The other is draw protection, which triggers when the device detects an unusually long or obstructed inhale. It exists so that a device sitting in a bag with something pressed against the mouthpiece cannot fire continuously. Clear the airway, wait a few seconds and take a normal-length draw.
A device that blinks on every draw despite being fully charged and unobstructed has a fault worth raising with us.
Burnt Taste on a VOZOL
Burnt means the coil is heating with insufficient liquid reaching it. There are two versions and they have different fixes.
Temporary burnt happens after heavy chain-vaping, when the wick has not had time to re-saturate. Put the device down for a few minutes and it recovers completely. This is not damage.
Permanent burnt is the coil reaching the end of its usable life, and it does not recover no matter how long you wait. On the Mega 50K this is a solved problem: a new pod carries a new coil, and the device tastes new again. On the Vista 40K and Star 40K the coil is fixed for the life of the device, so a permanently burnt one is finished even if liquid remains.
A VOZOL That Fires by Itself
Stop using it. A draw-activated device firing without a draw means the pressure sensor is stuck, usually from condensed liquid, and a device that heats unattended in a pocket or bag is a genuine hazard rather than an inconvenience.
Do not try to dry it out and carry on. Set it somewhere ventilated and away from anything flammable, and contact us with your order number. This is the one symptom on this page where the answer is to stop rather than to troubleshoot.
A Leaking VOZOL
A little condensation in the mouthpiece is normal and is not a leak. Liquid appearing at the base or on the charging port is.
Temperature is the usual cause. Leaving a device in a hot car expands the air inside the pod and pushes liquid past the seals; the same thing happens in reverse when a cold device warms up in your hand. Store it at room temperature and upright where you can.
Wipe any liquid off the contacts and the port with a dry cloth before charging, and never charge a device with liquid visible in the USB-C port.

Why is my VOZOL not hitting?

Usually the battery. These devices need recharging several times before the liquid runs out, so charge it for twenty minutes first. If it is charged, check the airway for blockage, and on the Mega 50K make sure the pod is clicked fully onto the base.
Why is my VOZOL blinking?

Either low battery or draw protection. Charge it; if the blinking stops, that was the cause. If it continues, clear the mouthpiece and take a normal-length draw rather than a long one.
Why does my VOZOL taste burnt?

The coil is heating faster than liquid reaches it. After heavy chain-vaping this is temporary and a few minutes' rest fixes it. If it never recovers, the coil is spent — replace the pod on a Mega 50K, or the device on a Vista or Star.
My VOZOL is firing on its own. What do I do?

Stop using it and put it somewhere ventilated away from anything flammable. A stuck pressure sensor is a safety issue, not something to dry out and keep using. Contact us with your order number.
Is a wet mouthpiece a leak?

No, a small amount of condensation there is normal. Liquid at the base or in the charging port is a leak, and it is usually caused by heat, such as leaving the device in a car.
